Applications for PGY I positions at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Training Program are accepted through the computerized application system, (ERAS).
Requirements in addition to ERAS include: -3 letters of recommendation -The Dean's Letter -A Personal Statement -Passing scores on USMLE Step I and II. There is no minimum score required.
The UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Training Program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP number 103982) and is a member of the Association of Southern California Residency Training Programs.
Occasionally, PGY II positions are available for applicants to a three year program provided all California licensure requirements have been completed in the PGY I year. Inquiries regarding PGY II positions should be made directly to the Education Office at the Sepulveda VA.
