Rotations


The UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Training Program is a major training center for clinical and research programs.  Multiple sites complement each other with regard to clinical experience.  An eclectic didactic curriculum and a diverse faculty exposure supplement the clinical experience, resulting in a well rounded and solid foundation in the field. Abbreviations for training sites used below are described on the training site page.


The rotational plan for residents who enter in their first Postgraduate year (PGY I) is as follows:

PGY II positions are also available for new housestaff entering a three year program.  The rotational plans for residents who enter as new PGY II's or III/IV's are customized according to the resident's needs and Program requirements.
