Electives
The 13 elective months may be used to individualize and polish resident's educational experiences with electives in many varied areas at UCLA/NPI, the Sepulveda or West Los Angeles Campuses of VAGLAHS, OVMC, or other sites. Residents may also select scholastic work in one of the academic departments on the UCLA campus.
During the elective fourth year, residents also continue their outpatient experience. These hours are divided among long-term psychotherapy cases, brief psychotherapy cases, and medication patients.
