Neurology
The inpatient Neurology experience in PGY I is complemented by a two-month Neurology Clinics and Consultation rotation during PGY II. Residents learn to perform complete neurologic examinations and consultations, discuss their findings with the Chief Resident and/or attending faculty members, and render appropriate recommendations and follow-up treatment. Residents also participate actively in teaching conferences, formal case presentations, rounds, and seminars. The Neurology experience is divided between VAGLAHS, PACE, and OVMC so as to enlarge the variety of neurology cases seen in consultation.
